Education & Outreach

The Education and Outreach activities of Royal Opera House Muscat provide the Omani community with opportunities to learn, participate, and actively engage with opera, music, dance, theater and the visual arts. Through its programs, Royal Opera House Muscat inspires audiences and enhances their understanding of and appreciation for diverse national and international artistic and cultural expressions. Dress rehearsals, matinees, public performances, pre-performance talks and informal interactions with artists and scholars, workshops and conferences, as well as special events, are some of the ways in which the community is engaged.

Arabic and English article reviews and Royal Opera House Muscat publications feature commentaries, previews, and in-depth discussion on arts and society.  Working in collaboration with diverse stakeholders, Royal Opera House Muscat creates an enabling environment for the development and implementation of strategies that foster talent, develop skills, and generate creative ideas. The organization's education and outreach work supports and complements the Sultanate’s overall education policies and goals.
